9.75 (excellent) An absolutely wonderful remake of a late 1970's story. Probably my one of my favourite series ever, without a doubt. Soundtrack, story and character designs are stellar, but animation is a little bit rough for the first few episodes. Nice voice acting as well.

Highly, highly recommended to anyone. The story has good amounts of sad, and happy parts, and is overall very heartwarming. Accompanied by a hauntingly beautiful soundtrack, this anime is definitely one of 2007's hidden gems.

9.50 (excellent) Freaking amazing so far. Almost done watching. The first series since I can remember that got my blood racing, and had me really in to the story and the characters, which are both amazing. Voice acting is also really well done, and the fight scenes are breathtaking. Animation and character design are both top notch. A++

8.50 (very good) One of the only yaoi series I have watched multiple times. The story and style are intriguing, and the characters (despite being stereotypically yaoi males for the most part) have surprising depth to them, and the voice actors for this series are amazing. Lots of laughs, and a nice amount of boy x boy action, though it is a very censored series. A definite recommend!

8.00 (good) Absolutely gorgeous animation, style and character designs. Story gets a bit bizarre in places, but overall a great series. I watched it all the way through in a marathon. I would also recommend Ayakashi: Samurai Horror Tales as a partner series to this one.

7.50 (good) Watched completely through in a couple of days. Animation and style are top notch, as expected of Bones, but the ending was beyond disappointing.

7.50 (good) First and second seasons were wonderful, but the third season is what pulls this series down for me. Character designs are loveable, and the style is adorable, but not too moe. Animation is nice, and the story for the first two seasons is heartbreakingly cute.

Third season is fine, but the ending is terrible compared to the first two seasons.

7.00 (above average) Gorgeous style, character designs and animation. Story is a little bit weird in spots, and the ending wasn't to my taste. Highly recommended, but don't watch it if you're looking for a happy story, because it isn't happy.

Also, VERY, VERY nicely choreographed fight scenes. A+

7.00 (above average) An overall heartwarming series. Nothing too deep, but the story is intriguing for all the world that it lacks depth, and the character designs are adorable. A nice, light watch if you're not looking for something too hardcore.

Doesn't quite have the amount of shounen-ai i was looking for, though.

6.50 (above average) Pretty good series so far. Gorgeous character designs, save for the main character, who leaves a lot to be asked for when comparing her blandness to the colourful and unique designs of the all the supporting characters. Nice soundtrack, and fairly good voice acting. Animation could be a lot better though, particularly in the fighting scenes. Not much action, although it is a fairly shoujo series, so I suppose that's what you get.
There isn't very much to the story, however. At episode 10 already, and not much build-up to a climax for a season end has occurred at all.

3.50 (below average) An overall disappointment for me. I was expecting something amazing, from all the hype, but it was an average story, with few likeable characters. Animation is nice, but the overall design and story is very bland. Was not motivated to finish this series at all.

3.25 (poor) Absolutely amazing manga series, but the OVAs released were disappointing. The animation was less than mediocre, and the overall series was very unsatisfying, and did no justice to the manga. It was pretty much just a trigger-happy machine gun shoot off.
